Brief History

1957 established as a 3-year junior women's business college at Yuanshan 
1963 moved to the present Taipei campus
1964 added a 5-year junior college program
1990 upgraded to coed senior college accredited to offer bachelor's degrees
1992 accredited to offer first master's program
1994 expanded to a second campus at Taoyuan
1995 began holding classes on Kinmen 
1996 accredited to offer first doctoral program
1997 promoted to university status
